Honoring Abbey Block Cash

The Grand Opening of this exhibit, 'Fans: My Senior Life Passion', will be on Sunday November 3, 5-7pm at the Hand Fan Museum. Wine will be served as guests wander and enjoy their way around the display cases.

A luncheon honoring Abbey will be held Monday November 4 at 12:30 at spoonbar restaurant, next to the Museum. Cost is $30 and RSVP is necessary to Liz Keeley at 707-431-2500. A fan sale will be held before lunch at 11 at the Museum.

This collection has something for everyone.
Fans on exhibit are from Europe and Asia in a variety of periods: 18th,19th and 20th century fans featuring carved ivory, wood, bone a and tortoise shell and all manner of lovely hand painted fan leaves. From a parasol fan to a Vernis Martin style fan, this collection has a real depth of history and art; all in a fan!
